Not so long ago I found a hockey photo that is quite rare in its kind. On the Ice Hockey world championships starting today in Budapest we surely won’t have a chance to take anything similar. Now that I publish this photo I guess we cannot even expect ever to have photographer holes on the glass here in Hungary – but I’m not sure if I really miss it or not.

Peter and David Turnley photograph the various conflict zones of the world the way many other photojournalists do and they have amusing and horrifying stories about their job like many other photographers. But they have some extra stories about how the two identical twins get some times mixed up or just looked on strange when they are seen working together. They have the same genes and the same professional background that often results quite similar images as well.

Earth Hour was held on Saturday evening at half past eight what results a characteristic series of photo pairs every year. Local landmarks with and without their beautiful night lights. This is commonly photographed by Hungarian photographers as well, but limited time and large space makes it harder to take a complex gallery if you shoot alone. Even publications that have enough photographers to mage a broader selection of photos rarely spend that much time and effort into making this type of coverage.
