Historic Hungarian horseback archers once beat armies of Europe with their famous backwards fireing capabilities. This memory revisited when World record holder Lajos Kassai won the Horseback Archery European Championships last weekend. His students followed him in the awards ceremony.
Students of Lajos Kassai became the best amont competitors from ten nations during the European Championships in Veroce. The world record holder horsback archer won with 367,43 points. His students Marton Szmrecsanyi placed second having 282,20 points, and Istvan Vermes placed third having 259,54 points.
