However I don’t upload everything I photograph on my blog, but I photograph Easter celebrations every year. Let’s have a look on my pictures of the Easter watering in Szenna this year.
In Hungarian folklore it is a tradition on Easter Monday for men to drop water on women to keep them young and fertile. Modern forms use parfumes or small glasses of water, but the tradition lives on and folk dancers regularly use buckets of water.
And don’t forget it – on Tuesday gils may return the favor of watering men to make them feel the joy of it!
