Not so long ago I found a hockey photo that is quite rare in its kind. On the Ice Hockey world championships starting today in Budapest we surely won’t have a chance to take anything similar. Now that I publish this photo I guess we cannot even expect ever to have photographer holes on the glass here in Hungary – but I’m not sure if I really miss it or not.

Protests and political gatherings are becoming common again in Hungary and attendees might be interested if they don’t want to appear in the media. At protests and other public events however it could be problematic as law forbids to hide your face. But it definitely should be a mandatory part of the Hungarian police uniform.
Another problem has been discovered with the newest generation of the GoPro action cameras. Better brand cards do get replaced in warranty but that’s more consolation, not solution.
The well-worn argument of photographers as to why they cannot work for free has been circulating on the web in yet another new form.
A gigapanorama taken in London recently has broken all records with its 320 gigapixels. Gigapixel-count is a type of competition that seemed to have gone off the boil recently after years of one large resolution photo beating the previous recordholder from the week before.
