I don’t like to go into sophistry in photo techniques. Firstly because so many other photographers do it, I don’t want to join the queue. Secondly, there are so many different views and approaches one cannot expect everyone to follow the same rules all the time and think everyone is mistaken for doing things in a different way.

This year I tried to show something special from the aerobatics show held on may day. Peter Besenyei took off with his plane from Elisabeth bridge, and Zoltan Veres flew through under Budapest’s oldest bridge Chain Bridge and performed lots of visual maneuvers. Let’s see some of my rare photos of these performances from a birds eye view!

JAS-39 Gripen of the Hungarian Airforce performs during the International Air Show at the Hungarian Air Force base in Kecskemet (about 87 km South-East of the capital city Budapest), Hungary on August 03, 2013.

This year there was terrible heat on the weekend of the Kecskemet Air Show, that meant a special challenge for both viewers and photographers. It wasn’t an easy task to wander around with the heavy photo equipment in the 37 degree Celsius. I guess it wasn’t easy for the pilots either however in the air they probably felt much better than people on the ground.
