The story divides people if it is worth allowing such events, but I have to tell elephants having a bath in lake Balaton are a really special thing to see.
Not only paparazzi are in danger of their subjects becoming angry and hitting them. Just recently a nature photographer was attacked by a 200 kg gorilla. Luckily Christophe Courteau got away no serious injuries but some very special pictures.
There has been a lot of fun made of Jean Claude Van Damme performing a split on trucs what spreads on the Internet like a virus. The same time Merrylu Casselly and Rene Casselly Jr. has a quite similar performance in Circus Budapest every day on the backs of two elephants.
Another photographer shows some close up lion photos. He is not the first one who takes nature photos with remote control and probably he is not the last one as this technology becomes more and more popular.
It is said an elephant cannot jump. But it seems they still can perform rope jumping.
Just like in the last years I photographed Blooming of Tisza this year too. Mayflies are still cute animals, I love them especially because they don’t stinging. But this time there much more mosquitos than ever before – and I like them far less than they love to taste me…
I photographed yesterday the newest babies in Zoo Budapest, the three lion kittens just freshly named.
I’ve kept mentioning the World Dog Show for days now, let me show a selection of my images taken there. I left out the ones that already appeared here on the blog.
This is the Real World (title of a reality show in Hungary)! Giraffes live in a place with 24/7 camera surveilance in the Budapest Zoo. Last weekend these cameras recorded how a giraffe baby came to life. Thanks to the camera system you can watch the birth.
Budapest Zoo’s newest cutie was up on her feet and walking around with her mother when she was just a week old. As you can see in my pictures, she did have some wobbly moments though when she teetered over and fell on the ground.
