Budapest’s landmarks before and now
Once I have a photo archive and we live such historic times with the COVID19 pandemic, I made a before/after photo pairs gallery about the effects of the pandemic and the currfew on tourism.

Yesterday along the rest of Hungarian and international media I photographed the recovery of the passenger boat Mermaid that suffered a tragic accident in Budapest on river Danube almost two weeks ago. During the operations I made a time-lapse video to show you how the rescue happened. The time-lapse below shows the nearly 10 hours long process in only 1 minute.Yesterday along the rest of Hungarian and international media I photographed the recovery of the passenger boat Mermaid that suffered a tragic accident in Budapest on river Danube almost two weeks ago. Now before their show on the stage of Palace of Arts members of Bandaloop performed on the walls of the building as part of the Budapest Spring Festival.
Returning to historic traditions airplanes again took over the sky above Budapest with an air show of both military and civilian aviation. They made everything imaginable to make viewers standing on the two banks of river Danube drop their jaws in amazement.
CAFe Contemporary Art Festival brought us Bandaloop dance company performing on the side of a glass wall of an office buliding in downtown Budapest. The ir motto is to imagine a theater stage rotated 90 degrees into vertical like the wall of a building they are dancing on. Well they showed us how it looks for real.
I was boobing duck-style in a motorboat during the rubber duck race on river Danube.

This year I tried to show something special from the aerobatics show held on may day. Peter Besenyei took off with his plane from Elisabeth bridge, and Zoltan Veres flew through under Budapest’s oldest bridge Chain Bridge and performed lots of visual maneuvers. Let’s see some of my rare photos of these performances from a birds eye view!
