Last weekend Hungary hosted this year’s Cart European Championship of the dogsled association FISTC. Because there was no snow in the whole country, all the competitors had to roll in carts.
It took me for a while to set up this gallery, but I hope you still like to watch it. Some of the pictures have been pubished by Hungarian daily Blikk and the Daily Mail as well, but this one is a rather broader selection of my images.
I’ve kept mentioning the World Dog Show for days now, let me show a selection of my images taken there. I left out the ones that already appeared here on the blog.
I don’t like to praise my photos but some times maybe posts like this won’t hurt you on my blog. Today morning I discovered the surprise that my photo was choosen as THE Picture of the Day. However to align the topic I could say it is choosen as Best in Show.
Other than these day’s usual phenomenon of everyone taking photos with cameras and mobile phones even photographers considered to be press attended yesterday’s World Dog Show in large numbers. There were almost as much photographers trying to snap the winning dogs as it is usual at the olympics or in Formula 1. We had far less photographers a week before at the kayak-canoe world cup.
Last weekend we had Flydogs Extreme Distance dog frisbee European Championships held in Budapest. It is a sport that grants mutual fun for both dog and owner as well and an oblivious play but it also entertains the audience as well.
Do you play frisbee with your dog? Does he look this good when flying?
