I make every year my collection of all the best photos of the year selections by various news sites. I did it this year as well. Once again this is the most complete collection of all the selections I fund online.

This last one was the least active year for my blog. This cannot be said for me, but this year ending collection of the best photo selections cannot be left out.

However my blog is in a rest for a while (instead of me) my old habits die hard. Just like in previous years i made my usual collection of the pictures of the year galleries made by leading newspapers. Check out the greatest pictures of the year!

I couldn’t skip publishing this tsunami like list of photo collections from the best photos of the last year. At the end of the year picture editors at every most publications have an urge to make galleries that look back on the events of the year passing by. This year is no different in this regard so I too created my collection of these selections made by others – just like I did in 2013, 2012, 2010, 2009, etc…

It is a habit at the end of every year to make a selection of the best photos taken during the course of the year. This year is no different. Most of the websites made their own selections. I only had to collect these collections together (just like I did last year and the year before as well) to make it easier for you to find the best photos of the year passing away.

News websites have been publishing their selections from the best pictures of the year for weeks or even months. Some of these collections were made from their own photos made by their staff but most of them are edited from the images of the wire services. I too made my collection of these collections just like I did it last year and the year before.

It has a long lasting traditon to publish different collections from the news photos documenting events of the year as the new year approaches. This is no different this year.

Once I have photos, blog and look back on the past year it is about time to show a collection of the collections. Here is a bunch of the selections from different editors around the world from the pictures of 2009 and some about the decade too.
