Many of you asked what’s up with my blog and me. Like many other times before I am again overly busy with many things. This doesn’t leave me time for a lot of things, most of all my blog. Most of my work lately was connected to the FINA Aquatics Championships. Despite it is over for a few days now I still have lots of things to do connected to it.
Hungarian Press Photo Comtest’s results were announced today. There are a lot of winners who were awarded in recent years as well, but this time there were four time as many freelancers among them as were the last year.

The results of this year’s World Press Photo contest have just been announced, and as always there is no shortage of photos bursting with violence. There are some, albeit not that many, examples of beautiful and thought provoking photos too.

But they have some extra stories about how the two identical twins get some times mixed up or just looked on strange when they are seen working together. They have the same genes and the same professional background that often results quite similar images as well.
It is an ethernal debate what editing can be done on a digital photo and what type of retouching is forbidden. I have searched through many sources for details on this topic. I think I found the most detailed description.
