Members of the local workers’ union at Stourbridge Newsquest starting a protest. Journalists of the newspaper stood up in protest not doing what the professional photographers fired from the newspaper were doing: taking pictures.

The popular photo sharing website has been selling photos before as well, but they now plan to launch a photo agency service. Their slogan is “Accessing Talent” and they claim being the largest photography community of the world. Many of their users however think they joined those who devalue talent and they only want to rip off photographers contributing to the site.
The 65 year old James Nachtwey still goes to the most dangerous places on Earth. At the moment he is pressing his luck in Thailand. This weekend he has been shot by a bullet. The war photographer who has been the subject of the documentary bearing the same title is okay now however and he continued work after his wounds have been taken care of.
