Canon launched a virtual camera museum on its website. Here you find all their still and video cameras just like all their lenses dating back to their launch in 1930. They made a really interesting collection that gives a historical overview of all they produced during the decades.
I got involved in a very interesting debate with a few colleagues about photographing the recovery of the capsised and sank passanger boat Mermaid. Some of them were complaining for some of his “really good” photos not getting published because TEK (short name for Hungary’s Counter Terrorism Centre) banned them.
Energy drink manufacturer Red Bull announced from 2020 they won’t continue their Red Bull Air Race series of aerobatics championships. They will hold this year’s planned events, but after next year the flight will end.
Now the number of produced Canon lenses is really over 90 million. In August 2012 I only wrote this number as a typo in May 2013 I do it based on facts. By February 2014 they made the 70th million EOS camera too. The rest of my writing is still to the point.
