Many of my female friends don’t like the masculine folk tradition of Easter waterings that is mandatory part of the festive in Hungary. Some straight consider it to be harrassment – including my photos of it. I think it is important to tell on Easter Monday I too get watered – I hope not to wither without this celebrartion this year!

The photographer girl couldn’t escape the folk tradition of Easter watering. Aafter toxic red smudge, rubber bullets, tear gas and water cannons now she got a splash from the watering buckets – not a small portion of it.
It is a lesser known part of the Easter folk tradition. Some even argue it does exist, but this part of the tradition does exist.
